Antwerp Music City is a non subsidized non profit organisation that provides 16 rehearsal rooms, a recording studio and a cosy bar where people spend their youth, or second youth, or come looking for eternal youth. It’s the kicking heartbeat of our local music scene, the home of the underground. Established in 1994, Antwerp Music City has always been completely independent from political interference. To make ends meet, we also sell some merch: check out our Discogs and Vinted webshops. We gladly accept (old/new/dead stock) bandmerch to expand these webshops or Paypal donations if you want to help us out financially.

We host shows. Brutally honest shows: No stage, no backstage, no PA, no monitoring, no SPL-limits, no bullshit. What you see is what you get. Up close and personal, live and direct. We don’t organize shows ourselves. If you want to play but don’t know any booker/promoter in your genre, we suggest you send an email to antwerpbookings@gmail.com.
